If we talk about surfing in Europe every surfer has his own favorite spot, no matter if it is the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Adriatic or North sea. Every spot has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Surfing is not only chasing big waves or getting barreled all the time, surfing is a lifestyle.
Some surfers prefer big waves, others small but long.
No matter if you ride a long board or you prefer a short board,
the most important thing is that you have fun, fun and fun.
Let’s say you like warm, sunny, and chill sessions with empty waves and friendly locals!!!
WELCOME TO FAMARA BEACH ON LANZAROTE

Famara is the place where summer never ends,
it is a proper surf village.
Famara is situated on the North side of Lanzarote island. It is a small village where the swell hits the ground starting from September and it stays until April. Don't worry, summer is also good for surfing, the waves are around 1-2 M high.

In Famara beach you will find a few local bars and restaurants with local food which is good value for money.
For accommodation there are plenty of rooms and apartments to rent for good price. If you prefer more party nightlife you can stay in Arrecife or Playa de Carmen which is 30 mins driving from Famara.
Famara is a small village, and yes, there is only 1 street 100m long and nothing else!!!
People come here from all over the world to surf Famara so get ready for your next trip, put some wax on your board and see you here!
